The project to merge duplicate familes is complete!

Volunteers have merged over 40,000 duplicate families that were created prior to the GEDCOM import & match process introduced last March. Special thanks to Jrm03063, Beth, JBS66, and Susan Irish, who each merged over 3000 duplicate families, and Jrich, Jillaine, Amelia.Gerlicher, Jlanoux, and Delijim, who each merged over 1000 duplicate families, along with over 100 other users.     Nearly 5,000 additional merges have taken place in the past two months, resulting in approximately 15,000 people being merged! 17 more people have performed at least one merge (not counting the merging during gedcom uploads that is taking place), and 5 more people have performed over 100 merges:
