Would you like to help WeRelate become a better place for genealogists? Starting today, we’re switching over to a new admin structure – in which everyone is encouraged to participate! We’d like to give a big thank you to our previous administrators, who have served for many years. It’s time for WeRelate to grow. Searching for sources just got better

January 22, 2011

When you search Source pages, commonly-used sources are ranked higher, searches by title now search both the page title and the source title, and searches by place covered are now more accurate. For example, if you search for sources in Virginia, you will no longer get back sources for the entire US, and if check the “Exact” checkbox and search for Virginia, you will no longer get back sources covering only individual cities or counties in Virginia.
